My Background

When I was in preschool, my favorite time of day was when I was allowed to draw and paint. As I got older, this love never faded and eventually I went on to university to study art and design.

Acrylic is my medium of choice.  I find it as versatile as oils with the bonus of rapid drying times for layering. I sometimes use pastes,beads, glitters and foils to add detail and depth.

I have very fond memories from my childhood and use these and an exploration of my inner self as inspiration in my work.
